dang hate to admit hospital was on its toes..............
Had to go down for bloodwork and X-rays for preop next week. I usually take a book to read but before I could sit down they yelled for me, did my paperwork and was told to sit on other side of waiting room, wait for my number, before I could set down a nurse came out and took me back for bloodwork. As he was drawing it another nurse from X-ray yelled my number, as he finished me up he took me back to the X-ray girls who did the x-rays and thanked me for my service and said I was done and to have a nice day!! took me longer to find a parking spot than the other stuff, and what was weird the waiting room was half full, guess I have a few extra hours today.......

The wife just had a hip replacement and all is going well. Everyone at the hospital was good & the food was exceptional !!! I called the kitchen & complimented them on their restaurant quality food. Next I will call administration & let them know.

its VA community care, local hospital in town, otherwise it would be a 75 mile trip one way, just for colonostomy, same thing with my upcoming hip replacement, it will be done at same hospital through VA community care saving me a 3 hour drive one way to Pittsburg......

My dad gets pretty good care at the VA clinic. I just don't like sitting in that part of town with out "Snubbie" on me. I go to most of dear old Dad's appointments now.

Bro, (again) it's "Colonoscopy." Not "Colonostomy." Colonostomy is where you are carrying your "waste" around in a little bag with you. 😥
Colonoscopy is where they are sending a scope, into your little tunnel. 🙄

Do they have VA police at your clinic.. Here locally we have a VA hospital and they have a VA police force there.. I assume they are federal employees

All VA hospitals have VA police. They are federal employees and certified LEOs.
The smaller community based outpatient clinics usually don't have VA police.
Also the VBA Regional offices have VA police.
