Henry's new 9mm

Went to the range this morning guy next to me was shooting Henry's 9mm semi auto carbine I didn't know Henry came out with this but it was a blast to shoot I may have to acquire one in the near future. Reminds me a little of the old Marlin camp

    Haven't seen it, or heard about it. (But) I consider my Henry Steel Side Gate .44mag Lever Action Carbine one of my nicest firearms.

    (Also) Own a nice Marlin Camp 9 and a Ruger .44mag semi-auto Carbine. Big rifle/pistol combo guy. May have to search this out. 👍

    *Also own a Kel-Tec Sub2K in .40cal. Inland .30cal Carbine, Mosin Nagant M38/M44's etc. etc. (I like Carbines.)

    I heard about this in an ad on the Hannity show. Sounds pretty interesting.

    According to their website they just introduced it on the 14th msrp just under 1K at $928-959 depending upon mags.

    I have looked at the Ruger PC9 but I'm more of a traditionalist the Henry is more my style the one this guy had had real nice wood stock and forend

    I bought the Ruger takedown carbine in 9mm and its a hoot. Henry could only be better.

    I also have the Ruger PC 9mm carbine. I added a Magpul Stock to it and like it even more. I gave $450 for mine and still see them for sale under $600.

    Thanks. A common complaint on the Ruger is it's heavy for what it is. I feel the Magpul stock makes the Ruger feel more handy. Not necessarily lighter though. The magpul but plate is smooth which I find helps the rifle shoulder more easily than the sticky rubber but plate that catches your clothing. I also like how it holds the barrel when broken down.

    The Henry looks better to me but not $500+ better. I hear you have to pay additional $ to get a Glock magazine adapter for the Henry. That comes standard with the Ruger.

    Have Win 94 Trapper (USRAC 1994) in .45 Colt, it too is a hoot, and I hunt with it.

    Holy Crap, Drobs! That rifle looks (middle picture) like it has the shoulder thingy that goes up!

    That shoulder thingy goes up and down automatically and the whole thing fits in a pocket

    I'll keep my .30 carbine. Lighter, shorter with a high cap mag. And probably higher resale value.

    I contemplate 30 Carbines from time to time. I just don't want another caliber and magazine to stock. 30 Carbine ammo aint cheap like 9mm.

    I have had the carbine since 1966. I stocked up on components years ago before the price hike.
