1911 question

Just picked up a Kimber micro 9. When you uncock the hammer, it is at rest just off the firing pin, which is normal. If you pull the trigger and it falls down onto the firing pin it it enough force to fire a round?

  Put a round in it and test it! That should answer your question.

  I have that same gun, and the answer to your question is NO.
