Foods that go together
I love a pork roast with mashed taters and sauerkraut.
Scrambled eggs with Franks hot sauce with sourdough toast real butter and light jelly.
Grilled cheese sammich with a glass of tomato soup with lots of pepper.
What other foods just seem a natural to serve together?

Beenie Weenies. (Even better when you make your own with high quality baked beans and sliced grilled hot dogs.)
Mashed Taters and Gravy
Slaw Dogs
Lobster and Butter
Taco's and all the side ingredients (guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, salsa, shredded lettuce, diced onions, re-fried beans, etc.) [Making me hungry.]
Baked Taters, sour cream, butter and steamed diced onion. (Had this yesterday.) Shredded cheese on top good also. Crumbled bacon etc.
A good mixed salad with lots of veggies, your favorite dressing and Parmesan/Romano cheese. Hard to beat a good Caesar Salad.
A lot of what has been mentioned above. (Previous posts.)
*@austin20 beat me to it. 1st thing I thought of when I read the thread title. "Goes together like peas and carrots." Great movie. A Classic.

My neighbor is a stock contractor and I was in the line with him at our local market, Lou is lanky and tall and looks like he's broken everything in his body. Anyway this one time he had mushrooms and hot dogs... I gagged. I looked up at him and said :
"Lou, hot dogs and mushrooms? He drawled "It is what it is" I think my face was green.

Eggs & Morel mushrooms. Now that eggs are so expensive, I consider this dish requires a raised pinky finger as you eat it! ๐
I hear you @Ditch-Runner when it comes to not knowing just what's in a lot of those processed meat products! Chances are very good that most have been picked up with a shovel off of a floor once or twice!

The phrase "Mechanically Seperated," tends to turn me off. ๐
I will admit, I do get the craving for some Vienna Sausage on occasion. Comes and goes.
@Ditch-Runner, your post made me crack up. ๐
