any way my wife showed me a video of the fellow singing I had never heard of him only he was a country singer ? but it was obvious from the tears in the group as the cameras he panned around he nailed it

as for the other no interest in even watching

Considering there are many nations in this world, I think your math is a bit off. And I can say with certainty that at every sporting event I have been to where a US team played a foreign country, both national anthems were played. Seemingly that happened at the superbowl.

Qualify that then, one US National Anthem.

For a few years I have made disparaging remarks about the rendition of our national anthem before big games. I feel that is one song you just don't mess with. I kept quiet this time as I thought he did a fine job.

...Apples and oranges...so, Philadelphia is in a different country? ...I guess I do learn something everyday...There is ONLY one American National Anthem, and what she sang, AIN'T IT...

I never once claimed Phily was in a different country, nor did anyone claim there was more than one American national anthem. Are you following the discussion?

This Nation, Under God, has ONE National Anthem. Any pretender has NO business at a huge public event such as the Super Bowl. Keep it in your hometown church, if they care to hear it.

Just another attempt to divide and conquer by the liberal left.

Some jerk is saying the blue states should starve out the red states and destroy the Republican party.

    Bring it on.

Yeah, I like the original. While he did a good job, do we really need another country western version of the National Anthem?

I watched the game at a friend's house. The ladies were standing for the BLM Anthem & God Bless America. I sat through both and stood for the National Anthem.
