Primer ??

Please help me out with what i have here. I have over 2000 of them in a bag with no hint of what they fit and or make.

  Looks like a large berdan rifle primer. Do a Google search for a berdan primer diameter chart and that will narrow it down for you. Bob

  I have seen that color in unfired 22lr cases by Rem. but I would think the color would be just a by-product of making the primer mix and not on purpose, but thats Just a guess.

  Here is an auction for Berdan primers - they show the color - like "TANK78Z" I have seen that color in unfired 22lr cases.
