They detected the FIRST one in a timely manner, just decided NOT to shoot down China's spy balloon.

Im still curious what the 2nd and 3rd "objects" are!!

Seems we are edging closer and closer to WAR! Either these are foreign aircraft and they ARE invading our sovereign air space, or they arent foreign.

If they are foreign, how will that country react to our idiot in chief? NO one on the world stage fears our current POTUS nor do they worry about our woke military.

Well, when the Canadians find this one I hope they don't find a bunch of dead Martian ambassadors!😊 ☺Bob

I heard that NETFLIX was going to make a series on these balloons, but they were going to use black balloons instead of white ones.

The only balloon over Canada is the one resting on Trudeaus' shoulders.

A small group of determined American gun owners.......what we would call regular folk.......could defeat the Kanadians.

Well not exactly. Because of NORAD we are obligated to defend Canadian airspace.

    NORAD - Canada.ca
March 2020 - Essential information to familiarize the Minister with the Department.

They do have a decent air force and I think they have a bunch of F35's on order. Probably our jets were based in Alaska and were closer and got to the UFO first. Bob

Canada had two aircraft on scene, one was a surveillance craft.....not sure if the other jet had munitions.

But either way, Canada would much rather let us do the dirty work and spend OUR money/weapons! Then they can blame us if something goes wrong!

Thankfully, Biden is making the world safe from hostile weather balloons.

I’m just wondering if China is allowed to shoot down our satellites that cover their country 24/7.

I’m not real convinced that the upper atmosphere is any sort of a meaningful ā€œborderā€.

By international agreement, "space" is defined as anywhere above the Karman Line, which is 100 kilometers above the surface.( 54 nautical miles, 62 stature miles, or 330,000 feet).

Other agreements prohibit shooting down or interfering with other countries' satellites. Several countries have or are developing anti-satellite weapons, but nobody has attacked anybody else's satellites - yet.

Gave the order or gave permission? Between he and Biden - I guess it's a moot point.

what I heard this morning was Brandon authorized Trudeau and Trudeau gave the order.

I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. @NORADCommand

shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object.

I spoke with President Biden this afternoon. Canadian Forces will now recover and analyze the wreckage of the object. Thank you to NORAD for keeping the watch over North America.
