Im sure this one was a harmless drone operated by an American citizen.

If it really was a threat, esp from China...... Ole China Joe woulda let it ride on through our airspace!

Size of a small car. Threat to civilian flights. F-22 took it down.

Why wont they just tell us WHAT is was. They dont shoot down objects without KNOWING what the object is!

Another balloon? A jet? A UFO?🤔😁 Most likely a drone!?

So, we can't rule out hags from The View.

So why wasn't the first balloon that was allowed to cross the entire US a threat to civilians and aircraft, but this one was?

they are really pushing the envelope. Wife wants to know what we will do to them (china). I told her that realistically there was little we could other than diplomatically slap them on the hand and say bad boy dont do that again

Supposedly the the first balloon was at 60,000 ft which was out of the way of commercial aircraft. This one they say was at 40,000ft or less and could have posed a hazard. The first one was the size of 3 school buses and this one the size of a small car. Could it be they are testing our detection capabilities with the various sizes? Bob

This could be anything. I suspect the Biden regime launched this themselves so they could look tough shooting it down.

    Question everything.

You know the answer, and now I think the US launched this one and MIGHTY JOE looks real tough now.

Supposedly, (from what I read today) part of the reason they let the last one overfly the US, was that they have recently (within the last year, learned how to track these.) The Story I read was that the NSA (etc etc) was studying it in depth and monitoring transmissions to glean more information about their Intelligence gathering capability, prior to downing it over water where they could retrieve the very large payload.

    Sounded plausible. 🤔

    Who knows?

"You know the answer, and now I think the US launched this one and MIGHTY JOE looks real tough now."

Yet another crazy conspiracy theory. That will eventually be revealed as truth.

Don't think so - they said it only the size of a small car.
