Help IDing a 6.35 mm / .25 ACP
I am looking for some help in identifying this pocket pistol.
I believe it to be a knock off of the Browning 1906 or Colt 1908, or perhaps it is a FN that was sold in Europe.
I have tried to take some photos to show some of the marking, though it is pretty worn. The magazine does say "Cal 25 Colt", though I am thinking these magazines were interchangeable. On the left side of the slide, it says "Automatic Pistol 6.35". Also on the left side, above the trigger, there is a large pin that goes all the way through to the right side. I believe on the left side, this pin is missing the lever that held the slide open, as there is a notch in the slide for it.
No grip safety, or any other safety that I can find.

Thank you for the response! I'll use that to continue my research. This is a pistol that sat in my dad's dresser for years, I wish I would have asked him about where, when, and how he got it before he passed.

Although noted for their simple designs, Spanish pistols were always made of good steel, so I have read. If that is a Colt magazine you are in luck and it may feed well. Most Spanish .25 cal. magazines were not marked, in my experience.

A Google search shows pictures of a number of examples, some with the lever that yours is missing.
