Grandson- UPDATE
My grandson took 2nd place in division wrestling. He goes on to regional going in , in 3rd place. He has only been wrestling 2 yrs. but has worked extremely hard to excel. He has still made honor roll and was student of the semester. The guy is a machine he has built himself.
UPDATE: Just qualified to go to State Match next week. His next match today will place him 3rd or 4 th. in Regional.

Sounds like a wonderful young man who has his head on straight. Wishing him the best of luck.

sadly and part my fault I just do not keep up or have seen them for many years all just info passed thru the family grape vine 😁

What Todd said!

I encourage him to continue, it is something that he can utilize the rest of his life. Several times my high school wrestling knowledge has saved me from a beat down. And, unlike street fighting it leaves no marks, unless you want to make a point. I HATE bullies.

One of my good/best buddies in the Army was Bruce "Beatle" Bailey. He was on the American Olympic Greco Roman Wrestling squad. Talk about good back up in a Bar Fight. 👍
We were "Work Out," partners. Gym Rats. Roomates. Constantly on the Universal machine. Every commercial on TV, we'd drop and see how many Push Up's we could do. We won a Bar Contest (Purple Moose Saloon in Ocean City, MD.) against a bunch of Muscle bound Beach wannabes. It wasn't even close to being a Contest. It was very quickly just down to the two of us. Had a Purple Satin "Purple Moose Saloon Push Up Contest Winner" Jacket for years. Don't know what happened to it. More than likely a former "friend," made off with it.
