Hello to Storm, newest Member of the family
Storm is the newest member of the family. Or Stormy as my wife calls her, We've had her two weeks
Two year German Shepard Dog, 65 Lbs of fun and so smart,. Already figured out how to open the gates. Kind of a Rescue, no chip and vet says she is great shape, for being out in the wild for a while. Needs a bit of fattening up. Had to get bigger doggy doors, the medium size just wasn't working out.
She roams the yard and love to bark at trucks driving by. I don't mind if she drives the folks behind us crazy (long story). But really a sweet thing. She knows all sorts of command already, We tried to find the owner but, nothing. Storm has adopted the porch swing as her own.
Got her from a family that raises GSD, The had one go missing during a storm, and this Girl was dropped off, having been seen out in the wild for a while, thinking it was theirs, They were going to keep her bu,t she was getting in the the cows and horses. So I got a Call. Same family I got my other puppy from, that had problems,
She Came in during a Storm and a Storm she is.

I am a true German Shepard fan we have had a few over the years last one was buddy he was about 130 / 140 pounds my wife always called him her gentle giant a d he was he was. He was about 12 when we lost him to heart failure. He is among our other pals in our pet cemetery which sadly over 35+ years holds a lot of great pals and memories

I loves German Shepards. On my first State Park job, the Park Superintendent had one that adopted me. She loved to ride on the seat of my truck as close to me as she could get. I took a lot of kidding that we looked like I had my girlfriend out on a date.

Hate to say it but fixed the shorts, in the under ground fence. No more opening the gates off the property. But opens the Gate from the House to the Shop, that not a problem.
Loves our UPS guy Brian (he has treats). Mail carrier is not to sure about Storm yet.
She doses a lot of Woof Woof's , at nite too great guard dog for squirrels

Buddy does the all feet in the Air, laying on his back "I'm a Happy Dog," All the time. 😁
