Once upon a time, many, many years ago I had some of the best toggenburg goats in the country. They came from the Carl Sandburg farm by way of Michigan State U. When I finally got rid of my goats I swore I would never again own a goat. I have managed to stick to that decision for over 40 years!!๐Ÿ˜

But your pics sure are cute!!!!

    Congreats on the new arrivals

Some time ago my wife brought home a pygmy goat Harley

He passed away even with the vets interventions it broke her heart

So shortly after she bought a few more who did quit well but old age won out they were her babies acted like dogs around her followed her every where we had one full size also gabby for what ever reason she did not men lol

My sons and I would always get head butted or bad reception never hurt us but she let us know we were not her pals

They all enjoyed a good life but also time toot its tool .

my wife once said when she retired she would get more as to spend more time with them now she loves them but hesitant to get any more pets to care for

Once had a pair of Wether's (fixed male) pygmy's we picked up as small kids. Buster was mostly white and Buckweat was.....well, you know! ๐Ÿ˜ They were both worth their weight in entertainment alone!

I used a corner of my garage and built a large stall with a cut out through the side for an entrance and exit. Outside was fenced with a gate. All my sons growing up learned a lot doing most of the care and feeding. And both goats helped around the place being tethered for grass and unwanted shrub clipping. Those two sure did love chewing on Weeping Willow! It was their favorite and I was glad I had a massive tree in the backyard next to the creek.

I always enjoy seeing goats around my area these days and when I'm not in any hurry to go someplace, I will stop and pay a visit. Wife does same with horses!

Thank you @susie for sharing your Brady with us and all those wonderful photos! Made my morning!!
