I got a Nikon with a 300mm lens. Six power lens. Expensive. But it is an autofocus camera and I couldn't get the damn Nikon computer to focus on the little object in the sky.

Only an hour later, did I dig up a youtube video and learn how to manually focus the camera. Dammit!

I will be ready for the next balloon.

    What is ISO?

ISO is how sensitive the sensor is to light striking it. ISO 100, not so sensitive. ISO 6400, very sensitive. When combined with othe factors (shutter speed and aperture) it helps control how bright or dark your images turn out. Look up Exposure Triangle on youtube.

That brings back nightmares of ISO internal audits at my workplace. I learned, don't answer questions that haven't been asked.
