Productive Day Off -
Assembled and wall mounted a couple heavy duty Iron/Steel Shelf units with Staggered Hanging Pot bars underneath. Several Large pots (incl. my new Le Creuset Braiser) on top shelves with all the lids.
Roughly 10 pots of various sizes (all new) hung below. About 10-15 new Wood/SS/Silicone Utensil sets also hung. A couple tubular Bamboo Utensil holders/sets underneath the pot set ups.
4 magnetic Knife holders mounted to my 45Β° Steep pitched wall. Roughly 20-30 Knives now wall mounted. A 9' strip LED supplemental light set up mounted. Operates off 12v w/a remote control.
Ordered another 39" cast iron pot hanging bar with about 30 more S hooks. A 6 shelf magnetic set of shelves, (ea. capable of holding 10 lbs) that mounts to the side of the Fridge. Holding Spice jars etc. Woo Hoo. Getting the Kitchen organized. All new Cookware. Very Happy/Pleased.
Carried in lot's of Firewood. In the 20Β°'s/Teens next several nights. Woodstove going, relaxing with a cold Beer. Life is Good. π

Sounds nice. Pictures would be great, but I understand your situation too.

Only way I can post pictures is to take them with my Tablet and drive out to the Head of the Holler. Can not take my Tablet to Work and connect to GB, as Gun Sites are Taboo on the Wi-Fi connection there. π‘
Can not open up GB Forums and read while at lunch either. (Same reason.)
I've had to go outside, stand on the picnic table (several times) and wave my Tablet around in the air, trying to establish a connection today, @home. (4G Verizon dedicated Samsung Tablet, for Internet access.)
Took me at least 45 minutes to try and get an Amazon order to go through. One of the Foibles (another good word for you Susie.) π of living in the Boonies.

It would be Bad Luck, to say anything.
Let's just say, I'm working on it.

Ken, take a photo with your phone & txt it to a member that you trust not to mess with it before posting it. We're sure your friend Ricci would take care of you.π

I plan on taking some tomorrow AM, and will attempt to post to this thread, on the way to work in the AM. π
Texting photo's from home does not work, same as posting a photo here. It has to be done at the head of the Holler, (with better reception) or @work with Wi-Fi assistance.

The nice thing about a straight 39" industrial grade Black Pipe bar, is that I can mount it between my 42" on center 4"Γ3" beams. It can/will accept S hooks that will pivot in such a way as to render the 45Β° angle irrelevant.

I have a pretty good sense of Humor. I don't mind it, unless it's mean spirited.
I know you guy's are just busting my chops. It's all good. π

Sounds like you'll do better things with your chops.
You don't pass a McYuck with free wi-fi on your way to work? Or a Starblech?

"You don't pass a McYuck with free wi-fi on your way to work? Or a Starblech?" - Rocky Raab.
Nope. I kinda live in the Boonies. Very small town. Where I work, is the closest building/business of any significance to my house. (Grocery Store.)
Closest McBarf is another 4-5 mi. away, going away from the house. Very rarely pass it. Would make it a 10-12 mi. (Ea way) trip from the house to get there. 20-24 mi. (Round trip) to use McBarf's free Wi-Fi? π€
Pass.

Ken,
You should put up an antenna that will bump up your signal. They aren't much money at all, and work GREAT! I know a few people in the "boonies" who have them mounted on towers, or on the sides of their barns. $500 or so.

Yes, I researched them and bought a set up last year. My problem is the WAGI antennae (SP?) Is supposed to go on the peak of your house. My super steep pitched A-frame is three stories tall. I sold my longest extension ladder to a friend about 2 years ago. (I can borrow it back anytime.)
That 3 story peak is quite the obstacle. When younger I would (and have) been right up there. Being older now, I don't bounce as well as I used to. (Plus, The ladder would be on the 2nd story back deck, so you'd be 5 stories off the ground. Unless you hit the deck, no pun intended.)
It'll get done eventually. (When I get completely fed up with the current situation and lack of "Service.")

Damn it Ken, I want to see a picture too. Take it with your phone and send it to your tablet. If a moron like me can figure it out, so can you. Either that, or take a picture and send it to me. I will post it for ya. You have my number. Oak
