...shoot it down? The Pentagon does NOT want to shoot it down...we had two Raptors circle and ID it, but they werent allowed to shoot it down, hell, its over Montana, not like any debris would hit anything... I have no idea why these idiots didnt drop it...maybe we have balloons over China and they are allowing us to spy on them, yeah right...oh this balloon was over one of our major nuke bases too...this entire administration cant go soon enough, clean house of all these Lib morons, JC's and all...

We must be missing some information. Why fly a balloon that moves with the vagaries of the wind when you already have spy satellites in orbit? Perhaps they want it to be shot down for some reason. IMHO it is best to leave it alone. Bob

The Chinese have managed to release an unguided high-altitude balloon which is sending high speed clandestine intelligence, back to China, while hovering seventy thousand feet over Billings, Montana - and yet @KenK/84Bravo can't get an Internet connection good enough to use Amazon at his house. 🙂

Never thought of this but that balloon could be carrying some bad juju and is dispensing it out over us. Don't know if blowing it up could make things worse but pretty sure we could capture it, inspect it closely and use it to send them fake news!

Would that not IF China did be an act of war? I don't think China would be that obvious when they could just send over 1,000 infected people with the new bio version and scatter across the land? Just my thoughts and I still think they did that with the China flu to exasperate the USA.

A ballon?? That’s getting pretty high tech for spying. I think it’s just a weather ballon that got caught in the jet stream and failed to break up and come down on it’s own. Now on a conspiracy note, the Japanese during WW2 sent over 500 ballon’s and a lot of them made it to the United States, and caused forest fires out on the west coast. Could be carrying bio chemical vials that could be drop over the U.S.
If it gets over a large body of water bring it down. Eventually it will come down on it’s own.

That's the point I was trying to make in my earlier reply and it earned me 2 disagrees. I don't really care about the disagrees, but wish someone could at least argue the point I made instead of taking the lazy way out. I agree. The "Disagree" button is the cheap/easy way out. It should be accompanied by a name.
