SMKW is up near I 40. I hear that there is a Bud's Guns nearby. Plenty to do and see around there.

You got to do Cades Cove . Awesome wildlife and stuff. Check out the Titanic exhibition. Helicopter rides and indoor skydiving . Ride over the mountains to Maggie Valley for the wheels of time motorcycle museum .

May be too cold for what we usually do, but...

    1. Good fishing in the Cherokee reservation and the park, The Cherokees regularly stock trout on the reservation and short term licenses are very reasonable - no state license or trout stamp required.
    2. If not closed due to ice/snow, a leisurely drive across the mountains to the Oconoluftee Visitor's Center, Clingman's Dome, and Cherokee, NC is worthwhile. Lots of interesting stops
    3. Second the visit to Cades Cove. Nice elk herds both there and in the vicinity of the Oconoluftee Visitor Center,
    4. For a short drive, I've always liked the Greenbrier area off Hwy 321. Pretty area along a rocky creek. My grandboys do well bass fishing there. Might have an encounter with a black bear if any are out yet.

Great golf in the area, lots of hiking trails. A few good restaurants. Some neat attractions

Forgot (It's been a few years, but worth checking into):

You can drive up to Ober Gatlinburg, ice skate, and go into a sugar coma from free fudge samples. Also, Dixie Stampede used to put on a good show with a meal (full roasted Cornish hen for each), but better call for prices with today's inflation.

A little bit of a drive from where you are, (But) In W NC/NE TN (if you really want to see some Wild Country) Roan Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Gorge, (with several waterfalls) Elk Falls, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Boone, NC. (worth a trip.) Come back to Sevierville going through NE TN from Boone, on 421/321. Going around Watauga Lake. (Rated on of the top 5 Cleanest Lakes in the US.) Gorgeous scenery.

    All around me. πŸ‘πŸ˜

    Love it here.

"The Snake," (421) over Shady Mountain, either going from Mtn City, TN to Bristol VA/TN or the other way around. One of the wildest switchback roads you will ever travel going over a Mountain. (West or East.) Scenery is absolutely Gorgeous.

Motorcycle Mecca. Easily one of the Top Ten in the Country. (My backyard.) I always take Out of State Visitor's over it and back. Lot's of Oohh's and Aahh's. Gotta have your GPS on at the same time, so you can all see how severe the turns are.

Good to hear that it's still as I remember it. We didn't see Dolly either, but we had tasty leftovers the next day.🀀

Make it to SMKW Buds Guns, Bass Pro?

Chop house, best in the area. Beside Bass Pro and another between Severville and PF. Go early or it is along wait.

You can sneak around PF by going left on Tester Lane.
