my oldest son is out in Montana for the two RR becoming one he travels taking photos of trains and they will be repainting the engines. he is gone for three weeks I am not sure where all he will be going for the photos
the reason I pegged you
he missed out on the aroura borealis by a couple days and kicking him self for not leaving a few days early he usually keep up on such events but this one slipped by
one of his friends shared photos with him
just wondering if any of you other members out west got to see the light show the photos I seen were amazing.

I slept through it that night, but here in eastern MT, the sky is so clear that it looks like you can reach up and touch the Milky Way at night.
I think the sky is so clear because of the ever-present wind.
