My upright Whirlpool bought about 10 years ago is one of the better investments that I've made, especially with the rise in the cost of food. I no longer buy food when I need it since I have a lot frozen. I can wait for weeks+ for a good price and buy multiples and store some.

We have an upright of the same size. I like the upright you can see what you have easier.

I grew up with a huge Sears chest freezer. You could never find anything in there except what was on top. It was so deep I had to use a step stool when I was younger to get to the bottom.

I swear when we finally get rid of the freezer in the 90’s things were still in there from the 60’s.

If you want to pay the shipping, I have a brand new, never used freezer chest, my tenant left behind. Nobody wants it. If I don't get rid of it soon, I am going to use it for fishing bait.

We got a GE upright about that same size around 13 years ago, it works great but the handle broke fairly quickly, was cheap plastic but can still open it without the handle.
