Scored some trap loads EDIT ADDED
RIO and Fiocchi 1-1/8 ounce of #8 shot three cases OTD for $209.80. Will head back Monday to grab some more.
I got a good deal on seven more cases but not like on Saturday. The guy that sold them to me told me he had messed up the pricing on my first purchase.
I now have 3,650 12 ga trap loads to blast at the little flying clay disks.
The seller is Bridgeport Equipment in Huntington WV. They have some more left but most are 7-1/2 shot. They are 99 bucks a case.

With the state of ammo prices today, you almost stole those! Don't keep us in suspense, where did you score that great price? Bob

It cost me $7,75 a box to reload? How many boxes did you get for $210? Guess Im wondering about your case size.

My guess, 70.00 per case, 10 boxes of 25 each.

10 boxes of 25 each per case. So I got 30 boxes total for the 210 bucks.

Well poop! I was hoping it was a national chain that maybe had a branch close to me.😠 Congrats on getting stocked up for the year!
Your original less than $70 bucks a flat sure sounded tempting. I've got about 25 flats of #8 in the garage that I have allocated to the fall charity shoot and 12+ flats in the basement for my personal use but at your original price it would have been hard to turn down more. I think I have a source for hopefully 20 more flats for next years shoot for about what you paid today. If that proves to be true, I think I'll grab them because the price will unfortunately continue to go up and ammo doesn't spoil if stored properly. Bob

Bob, I am going to look into picking up a skid load next winter if prices do fall. I can keep what I need and sell the remainder saving folks some money. With me shooting Rimfire bench Rest and now starting to shoot trap I may have to resort of eating only rice and beans, but you only live once and I do love shooting dearly!

you do know don't you Bruce if you go to the Ripley store they don't charge sales tax on guns or ammo unlike the Marrietta store. Though I don't know it it is worth it for another 40-45 miles......

That sounds like an awesome deal. Congrats. I don't shoot trap or skeet anymore, but I do shoot sporting clays, once a year at our club. Probably the only guy down there, shooting an 870 wingmaster🤣 They all have those high tech over and under shotguns. I'm lucky if I hit any trees with my gun........LOL

Yea, I learned that tax free thing about WV, it is awesome. I was heading to the Huntington area for my job so going to that Bridgeport store was only a few miles out of my way. I have been to the Ripley store, it is larger and they have more stock on many items. Overall Bridgeport Equipment may have stock on items but their prices for powder, bullets and primers are very high.
