Good job, Kevin! The only way that would have been better is if your wife told him he was done!

Congrats for showing a lot of restraint, and not decking the jerk.

We had an investment advisor like that. Ignored my wife despite the fact that she's the smart one when it comes to finances - and she was also the recipient of a large inheritance. Just as we were about to lose patience, he got sick and retired. The new guy now ignores me, LOL! No, not really. But he does recognize where the brains are.

I know tax folks are real busy this time of year, but there is no excuse for disrespectful behavior........ I am happy to hear you did not stick a copy of the tax code in his ear, even if he had it coming.

    Good call Kevin !

What’s the difference between lawyers and accountants? Accountants know they’re boring.

Look for one who will pay your taxes.

He definitely had it coming. My wife and I have had a good laugh about it this evening. She said she'd never heard me speak to anyone in that tone. I told her, it's my "disappointed dad" voice and reserved for people I have no intention of ever talking to again. 😂

After getting out of the Army and going to College, had a girlfriend/Fiance that I ended up marrying. We would go on long motorcycle rides after class or on days off. One day some Jackwagon took a left turn right in front of us. I managed to swerve away but the bumper clipped my Fiances lower leg. It was a mess.

Anyway, after everything. Hospital, wasted Semester at School, driving my Fiance back up North (N Jersey) Got to meet the Parents. (They probably were not very happy about me.) Months later, back down South, we were seeing a Lawyer who's daughter I had gone to High School with, (suing the Driver.) The kinda slimeball Lawyer was hitting on my Fiance while I was sitting there. (She was a real Looker.) I couldn't believe it. I felt like punching the guy.

He eventually, years later got Disbarred and was a raging Alcoholic. What a Jerk.

Thanks, @austin20 . I try to practice what I preach: escalate only if all other options have failed. Not always easy. :)

Hey @Kevin_L, the Seller on the XP-100 I just bought is - "Lock, Stock and Barrel."

When I saw that, I was wondering for a second there, if I was buying it through you. 🤔😉😂🤣
