My last at auction won here, was probably my "Police Trade In," Glock 22 in .40cal, w/Trijicon Night sights, for $350.

I could be wrong though. (May update.)

Sold 9 through LF, though. 😁

Why would someone trade in a Glock? They are Perfection!

22 Hornet brass. Reloading is the only way to go with the Hornet and I need to keep up a nice reserve of brass.

.40 cal. Glocks proved to be too much, (snappy) for LEO agencies.

Oh well. Their loss, my gain. 👍

I do remember buying at least one (maybe two) JMB Marlins from you Todd. One a bolt action, one a semi auto. (Both .22mag)

    Very nice aquisition's. 👍😁

@toad67 I won 2 in a local on line auction. I guess one is a version of your 22. It's a S&W 317 which will be the wife's house gun. The other is a 649 in 357. Both are NOS from a friend's shop that closed. I pick them up on Tuesday.

I've been on a buying jag this past year. Two from my LGS this past July (B-day presents to me, from me.) A Remington 700SPS Tactical in. 308 w/aSig-Sauer Whiskey 3 "Hellfire" reticle scope, went back a couple days later for a Henry Steel Side Gate lever action in .44mag I had to have. Added a BOG Deathgrip shooting tripod. (MO)

Most recently a Radikal Firearms Bullpup semi-auto 12ga. (MO) Already owned/own a Radikal SA-1. If you've not heard of them, check them out. Good stuff.

    Now the Remington XP-100.

    I've been Bad. Very Bad.

It’s been years since I’ve bought anything on the auction side. Probably need to look again. With the craziness of the last few years I just wasn’t finding anything that I couldn’t get locally for a little cheaper especially when you factor in shipping. I may have to look some more again.

I felt the same way and factor in the fact that west virginia now doesn't charge tax on guns or ammo I can find most things about the same or cheaper here local, though I am not buying as much as I used too, because I snatched up deals years ago and still have most of it..........

The great thing about the "Auction Side," @ruger41, is that you can find hard to find gems - like the custom XP-100 I just scored.

Wanted one for many years. Treated myself, to one that spoke to me.

A bunch of dang "Enablers," here.

Kinda like going in to a Bar and telling all your drinking buddies, you gave up drinking. 🤔

I have about 1,000 Hornet cases. I love to shoot my Ruger 10/77 Hornet.

Same here. I have about 600 cases now because that little rifle is a joy to shoot! Thought about selling it, they command a good price. But I just can't. Too much fun to shoot.

So much for the boating accidents. I'm sticking to my story.

Ken is correct about finding firearms on the auction side that are not readily available else where. With WV having no sales tax on firearms or ammo now it is usually cheaper buying from a LGS if it is something new. I did purchase a Pre 64 Model 70 Winchester in 300 H&H from the auction side in January which I have been looking to buy for a little bit now.

"Old model" Ruger Vaquero, SS .44-40.

With WVA having "No Sales Tax on Firearms," would that not translate to No Sales Tax on a Firearm purchased through GB? 🤔
