Colt SAA .45 ? #2
the other tread was very close to 10 replies , so started another
I took a couple of pixs, the ser. # is 159272, black powder Fraim, very good bore and chambers. from an online list it right on the line for being an antique.

The Colt website confirms 1895 but gives no other info. If your previous comment about the mechanics being good is correct and it is in time and locks up tight, I stand by my $2500 estimate. From the way your pics look, the grips seem to be in better condition than I would expect, so may be replacements. That isn't uncommon but does hurt the value some. Bob

Bob sure looks spot on. Those grips are replaced but like that clear Colt pony. I like those pieces just like that.

I did pick this up, just because the mechanics are so good, I just took the grips off and they do have the ser. # scratched inside
