No one who claims to support the 2nd Amendment should support prosecution of H. Biden for this. Very little difference between legal and illegal use of a lot of this, and we should not push for any anti-Constitutional enforcement of gun restrictions.

My "Problem," with this - is the Hypocrisy. The "Elite" want to pass the Laws, then they do not feel those very same "Laws," should apply to them or their Kin.
If his Dad is going to pursue/pass those "Laws," how about applying them to your Son? If you are not going to apply the Law evenly, then rescind it.
The Hypocrisy is astounding.

While I agree, Ken, hypocrisy is going to be a constant. I just cringe every time some pseudo conservative pundit comes out strongly for a stupid gun control law just because the target is associated with a control advocate. We are playing into their hands.

"They" are building their case that background checks aren't enough. On the news blab last evening, I couldn't count the number of times the line "guns bought legally" or "passed a background check" were used. Trying to emphasize the failure of background checks in general. Trying to 'prove' that background checks aren't adequate to keeps guns out of the hands of mentally unstable people.
Next step is just not have guns????? You betcha.
Nothing was mentioned about how a young person of questionable mental stability stored several guns and ammo in his parents' home w/o them noticing or investigating????????????
