Pedersen was a custom gunshop in Northern Michigan. Suggest you look on the Internet for info.

Took it to the range today and my son hit steel at 100 yards 1st shot! Amazingly I have 39 rounds for it with the dies.

you have a commercial M-98 Mauser custom barreled and chambered in 7mm/06 Ackley improved. this is very close to the ,280 Ackley improved by Nosler if not identical. you should have gotten a set of dies with it, if not the .280 a.i. dies should work.

Wow thanks Mike! I do have the dies. This was my Grandmothers gun and it's really nice to know some history on it.

if and or when you reload for it, try Hornady 154 spire point with IMR 4350, ( deer hunting load ) starting load should be in the low 50 gr. range , make sure you check some reloading manuals FIRST !!!!!!
