I never knew that thanks Nunn thanks interesting.

it was a good movie and now a classic

times have changed they never gave them a chance just opened fire and took them out. the same should be done today with a lot of the bad guys none of the patty cake holding hands crap

will add sad that America ( me included when younger ) put killers and crooks as some kind of hero for the people and root for them

get older and realize they were just crooks and killers and it was not our family who were killed or robbed

I'd like to hear more about that!

Thanks nun for posting this! I never knew and did enjoy seeing the movie back in the day. It has been a very long time and I need to rewatch it for sure! It was an early intro to Gene Hackman for me. Also got me hooked on other similar type "gangster" fliks like Dillinger and The St. Vallentines Massacre. Remember taking my girl friend\now wife to see Dillinger staring Warren Oats and Ben Johnson at the theater when it first came out.

I have several friends and internet buddies that worked as extras for several historical period type movies like "The Patriot" and "The Mountain Men" where muzzle loading guns were used. I learned that the making of both of those movies were quite a PARTY for the cast/crew, and extras behind the scenes! Mel Gibson, Charlton Heston, and Brian Keith were a hoot to party with! So I was told!

I wonder if some of those guys were working when JFK was shot?

I don't care for movies that drift way, way, away from what really happened.

In truth, I was still a schoolboy when that picture was made.

I recall watching that movie at a Drive-in theater. I have not seen it since, so I really don't remember much about it except that it was a pretty violent movie for the time.

Another movie with Michael J. Polard in it. Kind of a strange dude. I had a good friend in high school that could have been his twin brother, except for his age.
