I am sorry for your loss and send condolences. Times like this is when those that know you (and some that don't) express their thoughts to you. I hope you find comfort in those thoughts expressed here on GB, and elsewhere. I used to be cynical of people that would say similar in times of personal tragedy, until to happened to me. I certainly took those thoughts to heart and it did provide comfort to me at such a time. I hope you feel the same and will look back on the good times and memories you had and shared with your step-daughter. I am fully convinced there is something after this life and that those we love here on earth will be with us once again.
