Garand Question

Found a stock in some stuff I got. I'm not that up on Garands

Stock has a P on the Pistol grip. RA on on Side and AA46628 on the other.

Measures 29 1/2 long. (No Metal)

Don't think it's Italian, but ??

  I believe that it is a USGI arsenal replacement stock, installed at the Raritan Arsenal. The AA markings are a rack number, marked by some armorer trying to keep track of his rifles.

  A good find, genuine USGI stocks in good condition have become scarce.
