I want a giant outdoor fireplace
I want to add about 600 sq feet of extra concrete outback and put a large outdoor fireplace in the middle of it.
Any clue on even a fair bid for a project like that might be?
So another 10ftx60 feet of concrete (slab?) and a giant brick fireplace.
Im thinking 15-20K but have no idea. Reached out to one masonry guy so far, but we have only played phone tag.
Any cautionary tales? I do not have the spare time or skill to attempt it on my own.

Admittedly, this one isn't as fancy as your original ideas, but it's portable. And you can expand it with just a few more trips to Costco.

There are some very nice palm trees on either side I want to keep, which is what limits how far out I can go.

It's your place and I don't know the layout, but the slab is where you and others will be hanging out and it is the least expensive part of the build, imho, as mentioned above 10ft wide isn't much room, at least 15 x 20 for peoples and then depending upon if just want a fire place or more like your pictures add another 3-4 ft. on the side you want the fire place/cooking area depending on how much you want. Either way the slab is not the expense it is the masonry (rock. brick and the appliances) that will be the big expense, don't forget if you want electric, water available there also... good luck and share your final design and completion.
