If someone who's not logged into my account clicks on the bid history, is the retracted bid viewable to everyone else?

Seems odd that someone with that history and feedback unless of course their account was hacked. The world is getting chuck full of A-holes. Bob

It sounds like the whole account was fabricated. Just seems weird that it was on the buying, and not the selling side of things. Not quite sure how a buyer would fleece a seller out of money, especially when I didn't take any type of electronic payment.

Probably trying to earn legit reputations so it can post those.

Okay, Yes I agree. Good catch GB.

(But) If he is a known fraud, why is his account not locked/banned?

    (Maybe it is now?)

It says "No longer a registered user" so his account is kaput. Bob

I suspect there’s more to the story. He has a bunch of great reviews (as a buyer) from a lot of different real/reliable sellers. It would be tough - and pointless - to fabricate all that. Something must have changed to lead GB to send the account to the Island.

Nothing "fraudulent" about it. They made a bid, and then realized they couldn't pay for it, and contacted GB Support to remove it. And they did.

The simplest explanation is usually the most likely explanation.

When I contacted GBHQ, I specifically asked them why the bid was removed. They told me that it was a fraudulent account, and they will not remove bids at a buyers request. I'm glad that they found out now and saved me the headache.
