XP-100 - I Liked it, I Bought It.

7mm BR Remington. Almost identical to my last one. Same stock manufacturer, (very minor differences in the forend.) Subtle differences between the two handguns. I consider my other one, an absolute Firearm Work of Art. Just gorgeous.
Not too many of them out there. I believe they will appreciate in value. I've done pretty good in that regard. (Could be wrong, don't care.)
Bid the opening bid of $1199. BIN it now was another $50. After a couple hours, I decided Screw it, I'm not missing out on this. Went back and hit the BIN.
Yeah, I've got ammunition. May have to take up Hand Loading. 🤔
The other one I was looking at, was a .35 Remington, (not as nice a wood stock) & needed Optics.
Almost stole it about 3-4 days ago, I bid on it again, when it showed up - generating interest in it. It has several bids on it now, and will go up. (Optics alone, will increase the price by several hundred.) Pass.

Just curious Ken. What are you going to do with it??? Hunt or target shooting??? I bet that thing is a wrist breaker.

Nah, not the .35 Remington XP-100, I was looking at before Oakie. (Wrist Breaker.)
This is a 7mm Remington BR. Almost identical to my other one. The 7mm BR is not bad at all, beyond the price per round. (Shout out to Hendershots.) A handgun designed to shoot 300-500 yards. Gotta Love that. 👍😁
Like a short 6.5 Grendel.

Sweet, congrats

Actually, it was designed to shoot a course of fire between 50 and 200 meters. The Big Bore Handgun Silhouette Course. I think that Xp would have been in the unlimited category.

Got an unexpected Tax windfall, back April 15th. 3 years worth. (Long Story.) Thought I was gonna get absolutely hosed. Instead, I got a couple large refunds, and paid $1 (Yes, one dollar.) on this past year.
Decided to treat myself.
They are gonna be shot very little, and hopefully accrue appreciation/value, like I believe they will, Oakie. Just beautiful Firearm Works of Art. I appreciate them, for what they are. Works of Art. Still able to deliver a punch at 300-500 yards. (Still hold over 1K ft/lbs of energy at that yardage.) The ballistics of this dinky little round are very impressive.

40 years ago I had a XP100 in .221 Fireball. I put a 5x Burris scope on it, and it would group .75" at 100 yards. The farthest I remember killing a crow with it was 135 long paces. I liked that gun. Wish I still had it.

Now you can dual wield.

I know, right?
Reading my mind. (Except) The stocks/grips only fit right handed.
Maybe call it a NY Reload?
