Saw my first hummiebird today. They've been here a few days, judging by the syrup level in my feeders, but I just had the first confirmation sighting: a male black-chinned. Looking forward to five months of watching my amazing little friends.

spring hasn't gotten to us yet. The all-time low for us was 50 degrees on this day. This morning it was 36 degrees, smashing the old record.

Got up this morning and had to sweep off the 6" of heavy snow from the satellite dish just to be able to post this! đŁ
