When I was really into selling on the auction side, the gold membership came out. It was good at first since they gave you some swag that made the membership worth the cost, but as time went on, the annual fee almost seemed worthless. However, I've used the "live chat" a few times since the first of the year, and it has been wonderful.
Not specifically commenting on the "gold" part of it, but the GB help is really, really great, but they seem to be over whelmed and can't keep up in a timely manner. I'd guess that it's due to the amount of NPB's that seem to almost be the norm now. As they've always said, "talk is cheap" huh..
Just trying to give a shout out to the C/S on the auction side along with Ken...

A large part of the problem was the "Terrain Issues," I experience with my "Service," here at my house. (Like when Oakie and I were trying to communicate with no success.) My Tablet receives Internet via Verizon 4G "Service," or lack thereof. I live in the Mountains. Internet is "Challenging," to say the least.
I was not receiving the E-mails the Seller, (and later GB) were sending me. I had posted a "Support," issue related to an unresponsive Seller a couple weeks back. The Seller then posted a "Support," issue to GB, regarding me. (Rightfully so.)
At least I had on record with GB, that I was not hearing anything. I finally received a dump of E-mails from everyone. I explained the situation and apparently we are good. I am Thankful that GB was willing to listen and look at my past History. I now have to make things right with the Seller.
(Not a Firearm, an ammunition purchase.) I feel badly about it.

Glad that got worked out, and I'm sure you'll make right as need be.
I'm no computer nerd, but is there some kind of 'booster' or something you can get to 'more power' your reception?

I researched and bought all the equipment. The stall has been trying to figure out how I can get up to the 3rd story peak of my extremely steep pitched A-frame to install the Yagi antenna.
I realized I had a problem a few nights ago, when I attempted to throw a bid on an unbid on, Remington XP-100 (from the Remington Custom Shop) in .35 Remington, with the same type custom Wood stock as my current one. Silhouette model with a 14" barrel, like the one I own. (Very nice.) Found it with 11 min. left in the Auction. Figured for $999.99, it was mine. 😁 Wrong.

Since a CPAP/BIPAP machine doesn't work for you Ken, try a 9 Volt battery, maybe it will help you and your reception....🤣

Nah Steve, highest point possible outside, preferably on the peak of your house. Cable runs inside to the "Booster," and inside antenna. Those connect to my 4G devices.

Got a bid back in on the XP-100, I mentioned above and lost out on. It showed back up on a 3 day Auction. Hoping I take it. I had it 9-11 min before the auction ended, only to discover I was "Locked."
*Bucket truck can not access the back of my house. My house hangs out over the ground that drops rapidly away down to the pond in back. My 1st story level, has a 2nd story level deck out back, that wraps around to the ground level in front. Below ground basement, with a rear door access below my rear deck.
The peak is about 5 stories up, back there.

You need to get a tall antenna tower with a long pole on top to hook up your yagi antenna.

With the tree cover I have out back, it needs to be as high up as possible. Peak of my house. Your not getting a pole up that high. If it was "easy," I'd have it done already.
Thanks, for the "Good Luck," on the XP -100. I was bummed when I missed out on it. (I need two.) I've got the Long Range covered. Being .35 Remington, this one will cover close in.

Nah, the trees blocking me are not on my property. They are maybe 100 yards away, lining the far side of the Mtn pond. (And) I live in the woods, on purpose. (Also) Would not do a thing about all the Mtns in the way, between me and the closest Antenna for cell phone. You'd have to see pics of my property looking out the back, to get it. I actually like the trees being there. I value my privacy.
Had all the trees close in on the back of my house removed, (actually hanging over my house,) when the Power Co. Was re-routing the power lines here. (At least $10K + worth of work.) I sent a huge catered Subway, platter with all the side fixin's and drinks to them on their second day working at my house as a modest "Thank You." They were very appreciative. (I was at work, 33 mi. away.) They did me a HUGE favor, that they did not have to. I couldnt say "Thank You," enough to them. I had been eyeing those huge overhanging trees in strong windstorms for years previous. Woulda been bad.
I got a Tax windfall recently, that I was not expecting in the least. (On the 15th.) Was gonna treat myself to a firearm. May still decide to do so. 🤔
