Meet my new family member....he's going to be a HOSS!
I get to pick him up on my birthday! He is a 3 week old, black smoke, Maine Coon kitten....polydactly (6 toes) on all 4 feet. The breeder called it 4WD. He is not old enough to even walk yet. He's pushing himself around on his tummy still. His dad is nearly 30 pounds. I'm looking forward to this more than I thought when we first started talking about getting one.

ha ha ha the censor took out half of his breed name...I forget that is there sometimes.

Dogs have masters.
Cats have staff.
Beautiful kitty, Kasey! I bet he'll be a mouse catchin' son of a gun with all those extra toes.

Better name that boy Larry Jr. The ancient Egyptians worshiped cats. Cats have never forgotten.

So young and from the look on his face, it appears he is already plotting to take over the world.π Bob

My husband is planning on making this little guy "love him most"....but I don't see how this is going to be possible.
All the animals are with me all day, so I have ample time to spoil everything to adore me. Larry did win over our Pomeranian. I still don't know how that happened.
Larry is tossing out the most ridiculous names.....like "smoke".....and if we got another one he could call it "second hand smoke". I can't roll my eyes any harder at these choices. We will see what the name will be once he gets here and we see his personality.
Murder mittens is the perfect name for the stray we have lured into our home. She will "let" us feed her....sometimes we can pet her, but for the most part she just likes to roam around the nearby property ready to kill something at all times.

Beautiful Kitty there Kasey! We once had a Maine Koon and he was the coolest! His name was Vito. I let him out one morning about 6 years ago and he never returned. Figure either coyotes, Eagle, or ????? got him but not a trace ever found.
IMHO, when it comes to cats, you can get away with changing their names as often as you like. The kitty will come to just about anything you call him\her. Just as long as you use a gentle, soft spoken, voice followed by "Here Kitty, Kitty" π

He's a cute little fluffball.
Took in a stray once that was polydactyl. Part Scottish Fold/part ?????. Great big paws like ball mitts. Named him Shortstop.
