Agreed, Mike. Over 30 trillion in debt and the country gets more divided every day. I don't see a recovery happening in my lifetime.

Although the link in the original post has the headline about Social Justice Credit Scores, I didn't see any discussion in the body of the story about how that works. So for those of you who missed the news the past couple of days, here it is.
"A Biden administration rule is set to take effect that will force good-credit home buyers to pay more for their mortgages to subsidize loans to higher-risk borrowers.
"Experts believe that borrowers with a credit score of about 680 would pay around $40 more per month on a $400,000 mortgage under rules from the Federal Housing Finance Agency that go into effect May 1, costs that will help subsidize people with lower credit ratings also looking for a mortgage, according to a Washington Times report Tuesday."

Well, that may be a small part of the overall plan, but the social justice credit scores encompass more than just home loans. The social justice initiative is a directive to federal agencies to implement and enforce things like environmental laws.
"This subcommittee is tasked with identifying and addressing gaps in science, data, and research related to environmental justice and advancing the analysis of cumulative impacts."
That's a whole lot more/different than home loans.

You are entitled to your opinion @Mr. Perfect as am I, I read your original cited post and it was a lot of verbiage that really didn't say much in the way of details of how it would affect everyday people, The article posted by @JohnEReb may only be a small part of the big picture this EO encompasses, it did however point out in part how we will be affected imho. I'll stick with my first response that this is just another way for the Administration to gain more power and cost us money like most every scam they come up with.

I mean, ok. So it clears up, I guess, one very very small part of the effort. For that I am glad, but the social justice program is WAY WAY bigger than mortgages. There is more info here:

That's fine, but the point that keeps being missed is that the social justice credit scores has very little to do with mortgages. It's one aspect, yes, but only a small part of the picture.

Doing what he said he would do so I have to give him credit for keeping a campaign promise.
Further, another goal of he and the DEMOCRATs was to build Section 8 housing in more lavish suburbs rather than cities. Rumors say its already happening and dont expect bias corrupt media to confirm.
Perhaps and since Bidet has decided to ran again in 2024, people will listen to what he is saying.
