I know a lot of folks hate this guy (understandably), and he has earned it, but got to say this is probably the right call. In truth, I’m not sure it’s reasonable that any actor handed a gun on set for a movie in professional setting would (or should) reasonably expect it to be loaded with live ammunition.

I hate the cowardly sniveling way in which he lied about pulling the trigger "I never pulled the trigger" and he kept trying to say it was the gun it just went off by itself. Spineless folks like that deserve absolutely no respect

    100% true on that point.

Yep, caught lying, PROVEN the gun was 100% functional, so that ruled out everything except HE PULLED THE TRIGGER!

He, along with his liberal friends, was shooting live ammunition outside because they are above the rules!

When he shot these people, they were NOT actively filming or rehearsing. He CHOSE to grab the gun, pull the hammer back, point the gun, and pull the trigger!

Lying POS is responsible BUT everyone knew he would get away with it! As I said before, proof is never enough for some people.

She died at his hand. He'll have to live with that.

He could still be charged, if another investigation were to show more, Doubt it will happen, but he's not totally free either.

Like another poster stated, he has to live with it. And I hope he has enough guilty conscience that it eats him alive.

When I graduated HS, I had three options in front of me: music (singing), acting, or engineering. If I had chosen one of the former 2 and worked hard, I could have lived a consequence-free life, seemingly.

So what is the scenario with the young girl that was responsible to CHECK the firearm prior to giving it to Baldwin? However, wouldn't one think if you were handed a firearm you would check it out prior PULLING the trigger🤨

    The armorer still faces charges.

One can only hope that there are some critical thinkers on the jury for the civil suit. Remember in a civil suit the bar is much lower and we can hope he pays through the teeth. Bob

Alec will pay mucho in the civil suit. Probably will cost him $15 million.

Alec has a net worth of $65 million.

Although I was REALLY, wishing Alec would face true Justice, I did not forsee that happening. [And] It is not.

I met his Brother once in New Paltz, NY. (Stephen Baldwin.) Nice enough guy. (Unassuming.)

Liked Alec in "Hunt For the Red October." That was his premiere on screen performance. (Everything else, has been downhill.)

That pic, of the "Armorer," does not instill, "Confidence."

She is up a Creek, without a Paddle. (No "High Powered Attorney,) like Alec.

*Shooting Live rounds through the same Firearms, that were used during production, was just Incredibly Stupid.

I believe he has already settled with the family out of court.

and so will her parents and siblings. You and I would have owned up to it. He lied to himself and the rest of the world, just like Clinton.

    I think that there was a proposed settlement in a case involving her husband and son. However there is at least one more civil suit brought by her parents and sister;

Alec Baldwin’s criminal acquittal won’t impact civil suit, says Gloria Allred – New York Daily News (nydailynews.com)

They are saying here that there is new evidence that the revolver was modified and could fire without pulling the trigger. The case against the armorer is also being reevaluated, and her next hearing has been postponed until August.

I'd like to see the EXACT specifics of the so-called "new evidence".......from the so-called "expert"..........🤥

The truth is out there......somewhere. But, chances are that we'll never see it. 😎

I believe I said when this happened he would never be convicted in a NM court, especially in that part of the state.

    Smoky

Makes me wonder if a gun shop person hands a gun to a customer and it "goes off" and kills someone if the same thoughts would apply ie shooter bears no liability.

    Just wondering

Everyone seems to have an opinion, but as you say none of US is in possession of the facts or evidence.
