If I was the Boy's Parents, (of the Boy that got punched.) I'd make sure charges were filed.

I had this happen when I was a senior in high school. I pinned a guy in 11.5 seconds with a double arm bar and when the ref turned to the scorers table the kid hit me from behind. Clubbed me on the right side of my head with a closed fist. I turned and started chasin' him and of course the ref caught me in the act! LOL! My opponents coach stopped the ref from penalizing me and fessed up to what his kid had done. No cops called but I have an idea that fella's still walkin' with a limp due to his coach sticking a boot in his butt.

Off the mat for at least a year.
If caused injury/damage needing medical attention, should have to pay for it.

Infantile behavior. I saw it happen after a match back in '73. The kid was off the team instantly and never wrestled again.

@Texas1911DE and I are on the same level here. I was thinking, have the refs/officials stand the punk up in front of the boy he punched, give him a free shot. Knock the Dog Snot out of him. (Haymaker.)
