You are a few weeks ahead of us. That's probably a good thing. A couple of days ago it was 80° and right now I am watching it snow. Another week or so most of this crappy weather will be behind us and increase the chance for fawn survival. Last year we had two sets of twins and one set of triplets running around here. We do enjoy watching them prance around the yard and grow up. Bob

We were eating breakfast and happened to look out back and saw 2 does come out of the woods. Then a slow procession of more does and fawns. The final tally was 17 in total. They all looked really healthy, and the fawns jumped around and spooked each other and made a fun show for us.

It sure beats living in the city. (most of the time).

As long as you don't have to drive to and from town for work, though commutes within cities can get slow and tedious too.

Sometime our little guys get confused and hang out with the other little critters in the yard. We had 20+ little turkeys running around with 3 hens last year too. It'll be interesting to see if we can top that this year. Bob
