Finally, Some Good Flippin' News.
Got three years worth of Taxes done yesterday. (Long, complicated story.) I've been stressing over it for various reasons. Instead of getting absolutely hosed like I thought was going to happen, I got mid 4 figures back.
Shocked and Estatic. 😲
Just flippin' thrilled. 👍😁
*Like my Tax preparer said, "They don't care if you dont file ,if they owe you $$, but woe to you, if you owe them $$.

Turns out the year (2020) that I really thought I was gonna get hosed on, was my biggest return. Crazy. It was also very furtunate I filed when I did. My Tax preparer (long time relationship, about 12 years now. The H&R Block Office Manager.) Said, "Do you realize that in another 48 hrs, you would have forfeited that $$ back? Turns out after two years, if you do not file, they can keep whatever they owe you. How screwed up is that. You can bet if I owed them $$, they'd be coming after it.
It was just short of $4K for that one year. 😁
Nah. This $$ is going to my garage door Ins. Deductible and a new roof for my house.
