Redfield Frontier scope ?

I inherited a vintage Redfield Frontier 2-7 rifle scope. Some say they are made for barrel mount extended eye relief like on a lever action- is this true ? And are they any good? Thanks

  IMO, any vintage Redfield scope is good. As for the EER, hold it up and find out.

  As above, I have one on a vintage Husqvarna 270 and it is a great scope. You can tell EER pretty quickly.
