Missouri doing it right!
Looks like they are standing up to the BATFE in the great state of MO. Fantastic!
County Officials in Missouri Refuse to Cooperate With ATF
By Allan Lengel Six top elected officials in Camden County, Missouri, are taking on ATF. Commissioner Ike Skelton (Screenshot from Lake TV) They're refusing to cooperate with the federal agency, claiming it's unconstitutional to deal with them, KCUR radio in Kansas City reports. The agency has requested zoning information so it can complete applications for four gun stores in the county. In a letter to the ATF office in Kansas City, Camden County presiding commissioner Ike Skelton cited a local ordinance banning county employees from working with the ATF, the station reports. Under the Anti-Commandeering Doctrine, Camden County was the first county in Missouri, and possibly in the country, to pass an ordinance prohibiting any county employee from assisting your unconstitutional agency in violating the rights of our citizens, Skelton wrote. ATF spokesman Jon Ham says the agency is trying to help people open guns stores, not take them away, the station reports.

Good for them

I'm concerned this would NOT happen in my county. The local Sheriff could be a poster boy for WAFFLE HOUSE if/when it comes to making a stand on anything. The Commissioners are not star performers, either. All they want is status quo and don't rock the boat.

That's unfortunate.

Good for them.
I could see that happening in TN, as well.
Our Governor and Legislature are very Pro 2nd Amendment.
Recently getting some "Blowback," due to the recent School Shooting. (Covenant School.)
2 Democrats, recently thrown out of the Legislature, (should have been 3) due to breaking decorum and various House rules by taking over the House floor with Bullhorns and leading a Gun Ban Protest.
(You've probably read about it. It made National News and Kamala railed against it.) Their "Constituents," (Memphis and Nashville) [if I am not mistaken about Nashville] in two Democratically Controlled Cities, with a high percentage of all the problems associated with large Democratically Controlled Cities, Voted them back in. 🙄
"You just can't fix Stupid."

My buddy up N, texted me a link recently (and it has hit the local TN News) that one of them, (Jones, I believe) was caught on camera (and was arrested) leading a disruptive BLM protest where they blocked traffic etc. with Bullhorns in 2020. (He seems to like Bullhorns.)
He climbed up on a Police car, blocked traffic and hit a driver multiple times with a traffic cone, and threw it through his window, when the driver attempted (and did) drive through the "Protest."
This is the same "Lawmaker," that showed up in his 1st day on the Legislature floor wearing a Dashiki and a huge fro. Caught criticism for that, and has played that up. "They don't want me there."
Uh........................................Yeah. Your right.
