Are we absitively posilutely sure that is the serial number, the whole serial number, and the real serial number on the butt of the gun? No sneaky little letter "K" in front of the numbers, even if not right up next to them?
If so, it is a K22 Outdoorsman, first model made sometime in the 1930s, exact age only available by letter from the S&W Historical Foundation.
