Gun Broker Time Zone
Yes a Gun Broker Question. Just thought I'd ask.
I'm always losing out on auctions a the official time of GB is on Eastern time. As I check back too late
Is there a way to set my time zone on GB (Central) ??
I could set my computer back, but that would cause all sorts of problems.

Really, the only way to quit losing out on a GB auction is to bid the max you want to pay and have the highest bid when you do so. With the 15 minute rule, time zone is irrelevant.

Are you putting things on your watch list.....so you get the notifications that it is about to end?

I'm one of those folks that like to get in in the last hour or so of the auction.
GB sends reminders but its 6-10 hours out. and I can get busy an not get back. i' m not looking at my phone every hour to check.
Looks like I have to start setting an alarm on something i really want.

Several times I've spent the last hour praying someone would outbid me, I'll tell you it's really hard praying for an hour non- stop 😀

...so, you don't have a separate clock set to GB time??

I always subtract three hours (pacific Time) when I put it on my calendar.

Set your phone alarm…auctions end every min, so time zone irrelevant.
