Another project checked off the list. Whew!
Of all the things I'v done in construction the one thing that I detest the worst is carpeting stairs. I finally broke down and did the carpet on our main level-to-loft stairs yesterday.
The railings and balusters are all new as are the stair skirts. All the wood is rustic alder with a custom stain color and the balusters were done by a local welding outfit.
I'm a sore unit today!

LOL! Yeah, I let Mother Nature finish that chore about a month ago!
One more set of stairs to do, this one to the basement, and I should be done carpeting stairs for the rest of my life!
