Family range day
Donna, Chris and I went to the gun range today. I think this is the first time we all shot together in many years. We took the 22 rifles, AR 15 and my 38-55. Of course my son out shot us. I wanted to try my handloads for the 38-55. I made the cases out of 30-30 brass and made the lead bullets. It was pretty accurate at 100 yards. Not great, but not bad either. Enough to kill a deer. Donna did an excellent job with it, as well as the AR. For me, It was just great to spend time with the family, and see both of them smiling and having a little competition between mom and son. These are the days that will be memories for a lifetime. We are all so busy, that we never have the time to spend together. This was my son's and wife's idea, so that made it even more special to me. Good to hear about shooting at the range. Safer and doesnt give gunowners the bad publicity they get from people shooting in their yards.

Like the oldies. Kids love shooting golf balls with the old trapdoor and blowing up tamater cans with the 25-20.

each year some times twice a year we would get together in our back yard with family and friends always many types and calibers of firearms
lot of fun and thousands of rounds wasted well to some it was wasting to some
but a boat load of enjoyment for all involved
We hope to get back together this fall after a two + year wait
And make some noise , sad part price of ammo has went crazy as we all know

Always a good time shooting with family.... My sons and I fired a few rounds together on Memorial Day. Good memories....

Thank you for the offer that's kind of you but then over the years on the forums I realize it's your nature to be a good guy
A few years ago when the big scare shortage was on and price gouging was the normal
I had bought enought 22lr to last many years .
I gave away to family and friends several thousand of rounds
I have it stored in sealed ammo cans along with dry packs
