Just got these this afternoon, a pre 64 Winchester model 70 and a Springfield 03. They have both been restocked and tomorrow I am going to do a sweet tactical pattern camo pain job.

Just make sure you run some real coarse sandpaper over the stocks first. That gives the camo paint something to stick to. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Bob

I just now figured out the model 70 was re-barreled and re- stocked by a gunsmith by the name of Judson Darrow who worked out of Waterbury, Ct. Apparently, he was a highly respected smith.

I no longer have the leaf stencils. Ken borrowed them to make his targets.

I also have an old CZ 527 .22 Hornet that he re-stocked as well. I will photograph that one later.

The 70 is .222 Rem. and the 03 is .30-06.

    Ricci, I'll trade a kidney and/or a testicle for the .222.

Don't lowball me. I know what I got.

I can save you a whole lot of work there Ricci. Just send those 2 undesirable rifles to me. Out of the goodness of my heart I'll even cover the shipping charges! ๐Ÿ˜

why???? I would love that 222. Before you ruin them with a camo paint, or pain job, lol, put the 222 up for sale.

Once you get done with the camo screw some rails on the bottom and sides so you can mount flashlights and bipods.

    Flashlight.

    Preferebly a D-cell Cheap Walmart/Chinese one.

Duct tape, works really well. (Is it available in "Camo?")

  • Ricci.Wright

You better get the C cell baby cause I think the d will be too big for your tiny hands to grip.

  • KenK/84Bravo

As long as my "Tiny little hands," can wrap around your little neck, we're good. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

You've (supposedly) "lost weight," from your Huge Manatee days. (So) That shouldn't be a problem.๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜†

  • Ricci.Wright

Oh, it would be a problem. I would judy jet su you. And maybe you should look up thorax cause it ain't the neck.

  • KenK/84Bravo

    Yeah, (thorax) LOL.

I was laying in bed last night and it hit me. I knew I'd pay the piper for that one. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚
