I have split bucket in mine Jim and put some Dickies from tractor supply over them. they have extra padding in them also, I can brush the hair off them with my hand, as our dog rides in the truck more than the wife. They were also reasonable around $40 if I remember right.

Neoprene seat covers are great they are made of the same stuff that wet suits are made of, very easy to clean and water proof.

Just let your wife hold the dog, when you get home you clean the hair off of her. Might lead to other things. 😁

Carhart makes covers that are as tough as their clothes.

Jim, Do what I do. Tell the Mrs. to ride in the back, as your girlfriend is sitting up front. Let me know when the swelling goes down!!! Mine took about a week. Oakie

I bought Covercraft seat covers, several types to choose, I went with the "waterproof polyester seat savers", because the vehicles primary purpose is duck hunting. Retrieving boats, getting in/out wearing wet waders, would get the front seat soaked. These are very heavy duty and I would think dog hair would vacuum off easily.

I intended to remove them at the end of every duck season, but they're comfortable and I leave them on year round, translate........... it's a hassle and I'm lazy.

The past 3 seat covers I've bought came from Cabela's. Still on the vehicles when I sold them after 50-75K miles.
