Sad News From Here
My friends were raising their grandson because his mother was unable to. The boy got to be a teenager, still in high school, and last night, he died in his sleep.
Offer a prayer or a positive thought for this family, please. No names here; God knows who they are.

That is just devastating news David. My thoughts and prayers are with that young man and his family. I'm sure God is holding him in his loving arms, and fitting him with wings. May he set a place for the rest of us, at our fathers table. His worries and pain are no more. God bless my friend. Oakie

Devastating.....A young teen child died not to far from here today as well. Pick up truck swerved to avoid hitting the stopped school bus. Kid was about to step into the bus was hit and killed. Prayers to all.

I know the pain of losing a child. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. The pain is beyond belief. Lord please help these people who are suffering horribly right now.

He was 16, and raised by grandparents all his life. His grandparents were doing a decent job raising him. Had him in a good school, making good grades. Evenings he was in a vocational school that he loved. He had a girlfriend and they were planning a future together.
Autopsy results aren't back yet, but fentanyl is suspected.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

So sad. I told my grandkids that if either of them got into dope, they would be immediately deleted from my will. I ain't funding a damn fool!

The fentanyl epidemic is killing a lot of innocent people. All it takes s is one time to be given something with it in it.
