I have a very close friend that is retired FBI. He just can't understand how it has turned into what it is today. ALL political.

I have only dealt with the FBI since 1970s. They were worthless then and I see no indication they would or have changed since then.

Most, (if not All,) Government Agencies today are dysfunctional.
Look at our Congress and Senate. They can not get together and agree what color the sky is. Get anything of substance done? Forget about it.
The tighter to going down the drain you get, the faster the spiral. We are seeing/witnessing that now.
Buckle up. We are all going for the ride. (Whether you paid to get on, or not.)

I believe it was Ben Franklin that said - "As soon as the Populace realizes/discovers that they can Vote themselves, benefits/$$, Democracy is dead."
Or thereabouts. Please correct me if I am wrong.
The math is against us now. Those willing to Vote themselves benefits/$$, outnumber those of us willing to work hard, in order to get what we need. It is a pretty bleak picture.
