The Sikh soldiers have a well deserved fierce reputation and I guess the shop owners do now too. Kudo's to him and now maybe the shoplifter has figured out tobacco is bad for your health - especially if you are stealing it.
It is a symptom of our decaying society when the poster asks if it was justified. If this had happened when I was growing up the shop owner probably would have gotten an award from the mayor or chief of police. Hmmm..... back then incidents like this cretin stealing a trash can full of smokes in front of everybody didn't happen. Wonder why?. Bob

The Dudley do rights say them kind just need some Psychiatric counseling.
They were probably mistreated by mom and dad as a child or just ignored.
I think that them kind just need more of a attitude adjustment like that one received.
That is the kind of counseling lots of them thieves need instead of put in jail or prison and fed with our tax dollars.
