That's nice. The checkering is so crisp.

Sahweet! A niche gun I’m not likely to bid on, but love the gun porn!

Purty gun. But, those 45/70 guide guns kick like a mule !!!

Perfect. Besides, who doesn't enjoy launching a refrigerator with every trigger pull?

Great rifle, should go at least 1200.
I have one of the Davidson's limited run rifles (number 27 of 501).

bet it goes north of 1500

If the Indians would have had a bunch of them, we'd be speaking Apache now.

I bought a Marlin 45-70 about ten years ago. Fired it one time and sold it that day!!!!!!!!!! I think part of my shoulder is about 100 yards behind the shooting bench, at the club. A kid at our club bought it to go elk hunting. He fired it once and sold it to me. I fired it once and sold it to another guy at the club. I doubt if he still has it either.
Being a JM and ported, I bet that gun goes for 1,300 or a little more. JM's are preferred by most Marlin guys.

Seriously tho, Ricci puts up some real nice items for auction.
